Pastor Michelle was initially appointed to Leominster UMC in 2018 to serve in a one-year interim capacity while the New England Annual Conference discerned who would be the best pastor to lead the church on a more permanent basis. In February 2019, it was announced that the Conference thought that Michelle herself was that pastor! 

 

Originally from Houston, Texas, Pastor Michelle attended seminary at Boston University School of Theology, where she interned at Common Cathedral, a church for Boston's homeless community that meets on Boston Common.

 

Pastor Michelle has been married to her husband Jon for seven years. In 2018, they welcomed their daughter, Esme. The family enjoys good food, long walks, and exploring New England.
