Our Pastor

My name is Rodney Dobbs and I am the pastor of the Leominster United Methodist Church. I became the pastor in Leominster in July 2010. Previously I served as pastor of the United Methodist Churches in Canaan, VT, Pittsburg, NH and Hillsboro, NH. I grew up in Mississippi and graduated from college at Mississippi State University.  After moving to New England in 1991, I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA.  My hobbies include reading, playing a variety of sports, hiking, biking and enjoying time with my family.

My wife is Shelley and we have three wonderful children, Mason, Cashman and Brynn. Shelley hails from here in Leominster.

We, at the Leominster United Methodist Church, believe in the one living and true God who is creator of all things and that salvation through Jesus Christ is available to all who trust him.  We believe that God calls us to reach out in love to each other, our greater community and the world.
