Men's Ministry

God is calling us to fight for our faith and for our families.  He is calling us to follow Christ and live a life that is Courageous.  LUMC Men's Ministry seeks to help men answer the call.

 
Goals of the Men’s Ministry
  • We will serve God by serving in our church. 
  • We will serve God by serving in our community. 
  • We will serve God by serving in our families. 
  • As leaders in our church, community & families, we must make sure we leave a good legacy. 
 There is a substantial amount of study that proves there are many benefits when men take an active, positive role in their families;
  1. The families are stronger and more stable.
  2. If the father takes his family to church, the children are more likely to attend on their own as adults and take their families.  What a great legacy to pass on!
  3. The men have better relationships with their wives.
  4. The children are emotionally stronger, more confident, and less likely to become victims.
